Mark your calendars! The ConnecTEEN consortium is pleased to announce the schedule for the intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) event, a core activity of Work Package 3 (WP3), hosted by our Norwegian partner, lyk-z & døtre, in Skien, Norway.
Empowering Our Educators: This three-day training session is designed to equip VET professionals from each partner country with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively implement the ConnecTEEN Community-Based Crisis Intervention Program within their respective schools.
What to Expect at the ToT:
- In-Depth Program Mastery: Participants will gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the 8-week intervention curriculum, focusing on resilience, self-strength development, and emotional support.
- Ambassador Training Strategy: The ToT will provide a blueprint for training students to become Student Well-being Ambassadors (SWAs)—a key component of the community-based approach.
- Crisis Response Protocols: Trainers will be specifically guided on using the FROG methodology to respond sensitively and effectively when a mental health crisis is identified through the ConnecTEEN Well-being Tool.
The successful completion of this training is the final step before the program is piloted with students, representing a major milestone in empowering our VET communities.
